DGR’s Next Annual Conference

August, 2026 in Philadelphia.

After a successful conference in 2025, Deep Green Resistance Annual Conference will return to the Philadelphia area for its 2026 conference. Please stay tuned for our precise dates.

That stated, our 2026 conference will not be exactly like previous DGR annual gatherings. While maintaining its strong networking function, we plan focus proceedings more closely on our refined core mission: education and analysis. 2026 will feature a more structured, education-focused agenda and include seminars facilitated by a number of the educators and scholars in our movement but it will still end in an urban campfire session each night.

Also, beginning next year, we will be pre-circulating both an agenda and a “conference reader,” containing reading material that will help attendees both better prepare for and better digest the contents of our seminars, screenings and other activities. This year’s conference will focus on History, natural history, movement history and regional history; importantly, it will also take up the question of whether “history” as a way of organizing memory, time and past events is part of civilization and what alternatives there exist outside civilization and will include discussion of how indigenous and historical peoples organized their narration and memory of the past.

Please return to this page as we update it with details of the event and registration packages. Also, if you are interested in contributing something you have written or chairing one of our seminars, please contact us.

Naturally, not every DGR supporter will be able to attend. If you are unable to do so, please consider making a targeted donation to sponsor the attendance and/or travel costs of a low-income member.
